Monthly Water Rates (Effective 2/07)
Residence Base Rate $37.50 includes 2,000 gallons Plus $2.65 per additional 1,000 gallons.
Apartments (each) Base Rate $18.75 includes 1,000 gallons Plus $2.65 per additional 1,000 gallons.
Regular garbage pickup is Monday if you live South of Main Avenue and Wednesday if you live North of Main Avenue (in city limits)and Rural Residents living East & North of town. Please contact City Hall for a list of permissible items for disposal.

Recycling collection using your Single Sort Recycling Cart will be collected every third Tuesday of the month. The pick-up service and cart are provided as a courtesy to you from the City. A detailed list of items permitted in the container is available at City Hall.

The City Landfill is located 2 miles West and 3⁄4 miles South of Oakes.
Cat traps are available for use through City Hall. There is no charge for use of this equipment but a $30 deposit and release form is required to be completed at time of rental.
